Georgia Boy is a Michelin Guide-recommended, multi-course, multi-sensory chef's table experience created by James Beard nominated Chef Joey Ward. Located inside a private dining room that is accessed through Southern Belle, the Georgia Boy tasting menu experience explores Ward's creative mind, introducing the cuisine of the South through his inventive, colorful lens.

The experience is intentionally dynamic, interactive, and intimate where guests are seated together in the Georgia Boy kitchen in full sight of the chefs as they create the dishes right before their eyes.

Reservations are released 28 days in advance at noon.

  • Georgia Boy is open from Wednesday to Saturday.

    On Wednesdays, our seatings of eight guests share communal tables, with seating times at 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm and 8:00 pm. From Thursday to Saturday, we offer seating times at 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm, 8 pm, and 8:45 pm.

  • A $100 per person deposit is required when making reservations at Georgia Boy. Your deposit will be applied to your final bill, and service is included in the cost of your meal.

    Please note that if you have a gift card, it cannot be used to pay your Georgia Boy deposit. Your gift card will be applied to your final bill in-restaurant.


    We are a cash-free restaurant.

  • Reservations can be made here.

    We have a 15-minute grace period for those who may be running behind. Please note that arriving later than 15 minutes after your reservation time may result in missed courses.

  • THE DINING EXPERIENCE

    Dinner includes 14 to 16 courses and lasts approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.

    Curated wine pairings and non-alcoholic pairings are also available for add-on to accompany the tasting menu.

  • Parking for Georgia Boy is available but limited. Paid parking is available in front of and behind the restaurant, as well as paid street parking along Cleburne Ave.

    We encourage our guests to use ride share services whenever possible.

  • We do not have a dress code — we want you to be comfortable. Our staff wears jeans, and most of our guests tend to end up somewhere in the realm of business casual.

    Georgia Boy is a multi-sensory experience in a communal setting. Because perfume and cologne can be disruptive to the experience of others, we ask that you refrain from wearing fragrances while dining. Excessive perfume or cologne may result in denied service and a cancellation fee.

  • While making your reservation, you will have the option to note any food allergies or dietary restrictions within your party.

    We can accommodate most common allergies and dietary restrictions. Vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian menus are available, and we are able to prepare meals without beef, pork, game, seafood, shellfish, offal, dairy, peanuts, and alcohol.

    We can usually accommodate gluten-free guests and those with tree nut allergies, but please contact us to confirm in advance.

    If you do not see a specific restriction or have multiple dietary needs, please contact us at info@georgiaboyatl.com, so that we may confirm that we will be able to prepare your meal safely.

  • Due to the nature of Georgia Boy, including unique foods and flavors, as well as the blind tasting menu, we recommend making your time at Georgia Boy into a lovely date night!

    Additionally, in consideration of other guests of the communal dining experience and the limited space in the restaurant, we cannot accommodate infants or toddlers in Georgia Boy. This includes baby carriers, strollers, high chairs and booster seats.

  • Georgia Boy seating is at a high-top table. Please let us know in advance if you need special accommodations or wheelchair seating.

  • Georgia Boy is a blind tasting — you get to sit back, relax, and let us worry about the decisions! We do not release the menu in advance.
